Baja California Sur

Baja California Sur is one of the 32 states of Mexico. It is located at the north-east of the Mexican Republic near the Cortés sea and the Pacific ocean. TE capital city is La paz and the state was firstly occupied by 3 nomads groups (  PericúesGuaycuras and Cochimíes ) more than 10 thousand years ago.




Flora and Fauna


Bushes are the main thing you could find in Baja California Sur, they occupy the 87% of the surface.





Then he have dry forests in the region of Los Cabos and mangroves in the Coasts. This are some of the most important Flora in Baja California Sur.





And finally in the south of the state you can find a big variety of vegetation like coastal dunes




Fauna

Roadrunners, desert fox, bighorn sheep, tlalcoyote, auk bird, rattlesnake, scorpion and ringtail lizard, California sea lions, elephant seals, coral, shell cap, shell pearl, sardines peninsular, bottlenose dolphin, harbor seal, blue whale, gray whale, humpback whale, killer whale, Bryde's and sperm whales are some of the big variety of fauna that Baja California Sur has. 
The fauna is principally in the ocean.
